Kaicho Tadashi Nakamura is a ninth degree black belt and the Chairman and the Founder of Seido Karate, which was established in October 1976. Seido (the sincere way), is based on the principles of love, respect, and obedience.

Continuously supporting the City of New York over the years, the organization has been involved with various programs and events that give back to the community. This has included special programs for the Association for the Blind and the Hearing Impaired and food drives for the homeless as well as support for organizations against domestic violence and children with Aids.

Proceeds from our Annual Seido tournament given every October has been donated to the City of New York throughout the offices of Mayor Koch, Mayor Dinkins, Mayor Giuliani, and most recently, Mayor Bloomberg.
