It was great seeing you again on the A train going uptown several Saturday mornings ago. I had a chance to look at your website - very impressive! I enjoyed the pictures - you've aged gracefully (that's a compliment.) Congratulations on all the accomplishments with your Karate-Do. The YMCA and your students are lucky to have someone of your integrity guiding them on their journey in this life.

Oh, and one more thing - which I would have preferred to tell you in person, had we had more time - though I chose to express my spirit and teaching through a path different from karate (in my case, yoga, gymnastics, dance, and acting), I never forgot what you taught me about having a bushido spirit. It has guided me in everything I've done and I've passed it on to all my students as well. Thank you for the gift of passing on your knowledge and wisdom and for sharing your spirit with me.
