Osu to all my Sempai at West Side Dojo,

I wanted to let all of you know that I deeply regret not being able to say goodbye. I have moved to Arizona and am no longer able to come and train with you.
I simple want to thank you all for welcoming me into your Dojo and treating me with the respect you showed. I am happy to have met and trained with all of you and special thanks to the group that went on the 2002 Japan trip. You made me feel very comfortable and my time was much more enjoyable than it would have been had I not met you. I will be traveling to New York from time to time since I still have family and friends there and hopefully with Kyoshi Mel's approval I will stop in and train with you.

Huge OSU to Kyoshi Mel. I will always carry the memory of the time we spent training and talking together. I feel we have the "old days" spirit connection and you still give that to your students today.
