Thanks for the email. The reason I haven't been in class is that I moved to India! I'm starting grad school next year (in NY I think) so I decided to go on one last trip before I have to "settle down." I'm teaching English and science in a town called Sarnath. That's about 20 km from Varanasi, which is sort of a land mark city because it's supposed to be Shiva's city. Today happens to be Shiva's wedding anniversary festival, so it's an especially fantastic time to be here. I'll be home in June....maybe just don't make me do too many make-up push ups my first day back? I've been doing kata in my room, but yoga and walking everywhere don't really equate to the same conditioning karate creates, so I'm pretty weak now! Please say hi to everyone for me. I really miss the dojo and its spirit. I hope everything's going well....See you in a few months.
