Osu and Congratulations Jun Shihan Mel on your promotion! Since I hardly ever check my e-mails anymore, I only now read about the wonderful news! Let me take this opportunity to thank you for being such an inspiring teacher over the three years I trained at the West Side Dojo. I will always admire, remember and respect your strong spirit, your motivating power and your big heart. I have not been training since I arrived here in Argentina, partly because I have not found a good dojo yet (there is relatively little Karate here, more Taek Won Do), and partly because of work/family/getting used to a new life and place-commitments. But now that Matias is one year old (I cannot believe time has passed so quickly) and finally sleeping through most of the nights(!), I will try out a dojo close to here (Okinawan style) and see what it is about (and finally get to use my new gi!). My apologies for not having been in touch for such a long time. The first months (actually, the first half year) were somewhat crazy. But I have not forgotten and actually do miss the dojo and everyone I used to train with. A big Osu and only the best wishes to Jun Shihan Mel and everyone of you at the West Side dojo, Irmi
